LG Recalls the Bell LG 150

If you own a Bell LG 150, not to worry because Bell will replace your LG 150 cell phone at no charge to you. If you own a Bell LG 150 call Bell Mobility customer service for details on how to exchange your cell phone or visit your local Bell store to receive your replacement Bell cell phone. But you must do this before March 31, 2009.
The Bell LG 150 is no longer certified as meeting the necessary Radio Standards Specifications and as a result LG has decided to voluntarily recall the LG 150 phones in Canada.
The Bell LG 150 was previously certified by an independent body and has been on the market in Canada since 2007. Health Canada is of the opinion that based on new test results the LG 150 should not pose immediate or long-term health concerns.
No other LG phones and no other Bell Mobility cell phones by any other manufacturer are affected by this recall. Bell Mobility does not test phones themselves but rather brings to market in Canada phones that have been authorized for sale by Industry Canada.
LG will provide all Bell Mobility customers with an equivalent LG phone at no cost. You can exchange your Bell LG 150 phone at a Bell store near you until March 31st, 2009.
